STEP-IN. My shop. I now have it up for sale it is in the village of Middleton-in-Teesdale, County Durham, UK. I am open to offers. - I am a country woman from a farming background. I have four children they were all brought up on our farm out in the fells of North Cumbria near the Scotish border. My husband and I retired from farming and sold up about ten years ago. We then changed completely in a different direction and bought a gift shop in Upper Teesdale on the edge of the Yorkshire dales. The gift shop is my responsiblity. Looking round the shop I realised there was a need for some souvenir capturing this stunningly beautiful landscape. So using my artistic talents, I proceeded to paint water colour pictures of the astounding area and sold limited edition prints from my original paintings filling a gap very much needed in my shop and they have proved to be very popular.
